Your laptops, cell phones, dairy tubs, juice pouches, and #6 plastic cups can be turned into new products through a partner program with TerraCycle, a global company with the purpose of eliminating waste.

Turn them into new products, reduce waste and support local sustainability!

Help Experience Green and be part of the TerraCycle Brigade program that collects items such as juice pouches, candy wrappers, flip flops, cell phones, and plastic cups and turns them into tote bags, picture frames, notebook, placemats, pots, pavers, and more for major retailers such as WalMart, Target, and Home Depot.

“Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value. It’s part of the new proactive approach for Zero Waste, and this is an easy way for anyone to get involved,” said Teresa Wade, executive director for Experience Green.

Experience Green receives points for every cell phone, laptop and #6 plastic cup that it sends to TerraCycle. TerraCycle makes a cash donation back to the nonprofit organization based on points accumulated, so it's a win for all!
